Be it enacteu,ϔ.,

(1) Section 59 of the Marriage Ordinance

1875 (No.14 of 1870) is hereby repealed and in lieu

thereof the words following shall be inserted and substi-

tutea in such ordinance that is to say:-

where one at least of the parties either professes the

Christian religion or is a Jew or is of European descent."
